Also referred to as 1-2-3 bottom boxes, PACKHAN™’s Custom printed tuck end snap lock bottom boxes offer a higher level of security that other packaging brands just cannot beat. Even though these can take a tad bit more time to assemble and display, the way they securely grip the products inside more than make up for this. The flaps that are located at the bottom can be interlocked to secure the products inside and to keep them from slipping out during transit.
Additional bottom flaps can also be added on request in case of heavier or delicate items for complete closure while a friction fit and shore lock can also be utilized on the ‘tucks’ for additional security. The locked in position pins the top flap in the custom tuck end lock bottom boxes firmly in place which is one of the main reasons this packaging solution is used primarily for its bottom closure.
The way it works is simple. A large locking panel needs to be inserted first followed by the two dust panel and another small locking panel. Then tuck under the large locking panel to complete the seal. This is often followed by closing the tuck top for maximum security.
